A Time to Build
The description of the building of the first Israel temple serves us not as a command that we have to carry out by letter, but as a biblical principle. We see it again in Ezra, when the nation takes up to rebuild the ruined temple, "...All whose spirits God has moved, arose to go up and build the house of the Lord' (Ezra 1:5). In Nehemiah we read about the continuation of that building - the rebuilding of the city walls. Again we see that all worked (see Nehemiah 3). May the words of Nehemiah be the motto of all our building partners? "The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build". (Nehemiah 2:20)
I think that this project is real and can truly be accomplished through God's grace and our self-denial. Therefore, I invite all the Winfield Bible Chapel friends and members to take part in this, as well as others, whose hearts will be stirred by the Lord.
Winfield Bible Chapel Board of Trustees has begun a long-overdue program of building and renovation. Though the estimate of the building project is not final yet, approximately it is about 4 million. Please continue to give sacrificially and pray for the Building Ministry.
